Meet the team

Sandy Bowen is a dedicated Senior Living Advisor and the founder of Haven Lane Senior Solutions, serving families throughout the Piedmont Triad with compassion, clarity, and unmatched local expertise. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Sandy attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. In 1994, she married her husband, Matt, and the two spent several years moving around the United States during his service in the U.S. Army before settling in the Winston-Salem area in 1999. Sandy and Matt have two sons, Sawyer and Henry — and today, she proudly co-owns Haven Lane Senior Solutions with Sawyer.

For more than seven years, Sandy has guided older adults and their loved ones through the complex and emotional journey of finding the right senior living option — including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and specialized care settings.

Known for her warm approach and deep understanding of the senior care landscape, Sandy has built trusted relationships with communities, healthcare providers, and local professionals across the region. She is committed to making the placement process as stress-free as possible by offering personalized recommendations, coordinating tours, helping families understand budgets, programs, and care needs, and providing steady support through every step of the transition.

Sandy’s work is rooted in empathy, integrity, and advocacy. She believes every family deserves guidance they can rely on — at no cost — especially during some of life’s most challenging moments. Through Haven Lane Senior Solutions, she continues her mission of helping seniors find a safe, comfortable, and meaningful next chapter.

Sawyer Bowen was born and raised in the Winston-Salem area and is a graduate of Ronald Reagan High School in Pfafftown, North Carolina. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Lees-McRae College in 2022.

For the past three years, Sawyer has worked in the senior care field, serving in marketing, recruiting, and as an HR Director for a home care and placement agency across the Piedmont Triad. His hands-on experience, paired with a strong business foundation, has given him a deep understanding of senior care needs and the families navigating them.

Sawyer is the proud co-owner of Haven Lane Senior Solutions, working alongside his mom, Sandy. He is dedicated to helping older adults find the best senior living options and is committed to building strong, trusted partnerships within the community.
